How does attack the block represent young people?

Over the last week we have been watching the film attack the block.In this film youths are portrayed as frightening and dangerous although the charcters in this movie are all under the age of eighteen; They smoke (weed), rob people and basically get up to all sorts of trouble.

In this picture, you can see that Moses is the main character because the camera is a close-up shot.

In this picture, you can see that the nurse  has a lower status than the boys, because she is behind them, however she's still important enough to be seen.
